I really enjoy reading and writing about recent developments in science. I have my own blog on stem cells and am a blog contributor for the biomaterials section of the Canadian award winning blog by the Center for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine (CCRM) called: Signals. Feel free to click on one of the links below to see my blog and samples of articles I wrote for CCRM. I have also written for the Stem Cellar, the official blog of the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM). You can find more of my posts for signals blog, here.
As a science enthusiast, I love talking to people who spend their lives working on science and technology projects, be it in biology and medical sciences or mathematics, computers and engineering sciences. Over the years I have come across amazing people in all different disciplines such as computer science, biomedical engineering, and stem cell science. As a freelancer I had the pleasure of interviewing them for personal profiles or blog interviews. Below you can find examples of such interviews.
I have also created and managed my own Facebook page for emrani-communications where I share news and articles related to science and STEM education, along links to my personal blogs. As a volunteer I have also created and managed the Instagram and twitter accounts for the Iranian Canadian Leadership Conference that was held in Toronto in July 29th, 2017. This event had more than 30 distinguished and successful Iranian women who have leadership roles in the United States and Canada.
I have also designed websites for personal and event promotion purposes. Due to privacy concerns, I will share images of the websites I designed in private inquiries.

For a few months I was a volunteer for Spongelab Inc., a science educational games supplier. I managed their Facebook page whose primary audience are high school aged youth. I really enjoyed the chance to be creative in sharing interesting science news I read about and was able to have a good engagement on their Facebook page. Below you see a snapshot of the Spongelab Inc.’s Facebook page.
